  • Holy crap there is so much new stuff!

Ben and I got moved into our apartment which is in a snug little neighborhood in Minneapolis.  We were also
honored and excited to bring into our home a lovely kitty who goes by the name of Sylvie.  She was the one "Forget-me-not" cat
in the Humane Societies of Minnesota, and seeing as was so pretty in her picture (a little lopsided due to a missing ear) we decided
to pay her a visit in Coon Rapids.

Well, we can say that we fell in love, and we took her home that following Caturday.

Now she's been enjoying hanging out in our bed and watching out of our nice big windows while Ben and I are off at work during the day.

I'm still chugging away at Mill City Press, making book covers and interiors, and I'm happy to say that the aforementioned Tooth Fairy book has been
fully designed and is out the door to be printed, which is pretty exciting.  I have illustrations in a published children's book, you guys! :D

    Hopefully, more to come :)

  • what an awesome cat! great name, too. aw, mary. this is so great to hear. things are really coming together for you and it makes me very happy. your update is most appreciated. :) ))

  • That is extremely awesome, you are now a published illustrator! In case anyone is reading this, I knew her before she was famous, lol. Also, the new kit-teh is very cute! You guys keep rolling with the happily ever after thing.

  • Muff, I have a question. From where or what circumstance did your "naturalaruba" username arise? I've always wanted to know.

  • That's hilarious, and I've explained it many times, so no worries. I had a collaged picture in my room when I was in middle school (yes. that long ago I had started my account. Crazy!) with all these different words cut out from different magazines. Many of them were from a scuba magazine that my sister would get. I remember looking up at the picture when I was prompted to pick out a username, and two words caught my eye. "Natural" and "Aruba". Ta-Da! It's been the same ever since!
