Today is a good day.
I’ve gotten some pretty nice compliments today, and that doesn’t really happen.
Tonight is another gym night because we skipped the gym yesterday. I’m going to learn how to a proper squat and I am DETERMINED to get my legs into better shape before the summertime.
So with the good, comes the bad/creepy.
Did you hear about the woman whose heavily decomposed body was found in the water tank of a hotel in LA? And that it was a water tank that people drank from/brushed their teeth/took showers in?
It’s a horribly sad story, but here’s a video about the story.

She was probably raped and murdered, possibly by a staff member who had access to the roof and knew of its unlocked water tanks. It’s interesting that the killer left the body where it would inevitably be found. The person was perhaps stupid, impetuous, on drugs or something and hadn’t given much advance thought as to how they were going to cover up the crime. That or maybe they deliberately left the evidence in order to brag about their deed as some serial killers do. It also could have been a disgruntled employee wanting to get back at the hotel. Least likely of all, maybe she got drunk, wandered up there, was screwing around and fell in. You hear stories about bad tap water but that one really takes the cake! It’s the stuff of which urban legends are made.
